Reflection on the Sequences

Reflection on the Sequences

Firstly, my first project for the Digital Arts module was to make a sequence in a group of 3.  Moreover, I have worked with Nathan and Jessica to make the movement of a random swan living its daily life in Leicester City.  Since it was our first project, we were still new students in De Montfort University which is in Leicester and that project made us go outside and explore Leicester by finding new locations from the river that we took the picture of the swan to the busy city center that is filled with stores and restaurants.  We benefited from this project artistically and we had a fantastic brilliant day in Leicester City!

My second sequential images project was an individual project where I made a sequence of images of a pool ball accelerating with speed to a hole.  This project was an amazing experience to me since I was able to find some new tools in my phone's camera which was the animation tool that made the sequential images I took into a GIF animation.  There is a meaning behind this sequence which is that if a person does not take risks and never give up on his or her dream, they will never succeed in life. In addition,  I can relate to this sequence since I have faced many obstacles as an artist because I started drawing 3 years ago and had to build up and develop my skills in the limited time I had to get into university.  Yet, I still have a long way to go as an artist and there is still a large number of skills, I should learn and develop.
